The Children and Youth Museum of Munich is located in the northern wing of Munich’s main train station. It displays changing interactive exhibits on phenomena in art, culture, technology, history, and nature. The main idea revolves around experiencing things with all senses – discovery, experimentation, and independent testing – a special attraction for children and families.
Common to all exhibits is the touching, participation, playing, learning, and understanding. Among the exhibit themes of the past years at the Children’s and Youth Museum ate "Darkness", "Soap Bubble Dreams", "Paper la Papp", "Salt", and "From Crack to Bach".
Employing the special learning principle "hands on – minds on!" young visitors can experience exhibit themes in their own way and at their own pace. The idea is to encourage curiosity with children which then provides the joy of discovery and experimentation – the touching and comprehending, the feeling and realizing, and the understanding.

The Children’s and Youth Museum in Munich was founded in 1990 and moved into its present space at the Munich main train station in 1996. Since 2001 it exists as a public registered society. The Children’s and Youth Museum of Munich operates as an independent agency under the Cultural Ministry of the State Capital Munich. The established purpose is to enrich young people’s lives through active learning and experiential areas. Interesting topics should encourage the delight, curiosity, and fantasy involved when discovering new connections which enhance a child’s development and make the world more understandable. The museum organizes one or two exhibits each year. A constant component of each exhibit is the framework of a theme-oriented creative workshop providing enrichment and training opportunities for adults.

Alles klar? Wie wir miteinander kommunizieren
16.07.2016 - 18.06.2017

Entdecke was dein Körper sagt und finde heraus was notwendig ist, damit andere dich verstehen.
